The WSU-PNNL Nuclear Science and Technology Institute is a joint research collaboration of Washington State University and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. NSTI's mission is to understand and control how materials evolve in radiation environments—to prevent the use of illicit nuclear materials, resolve issues in nuclear waste management, and advance next-generation nuclear energy.

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Nevada, Reno is a teaching- and research oriented department offering graduate degrees in Chemistry (MS and PhD) and Chemical Physics (PhD, joint with the Department of Physics). The Department of Chemistry offers courses through the Ecampus office, but also digitally through our department which we refer to as either online or hybrid courses.
